I'm Jacob Redmond. I began Redmond Irons in 2002, directing my machine building toward the craft of the professional tattooer. I started my own career tattooing in 1998 and throughout the learning process began dissecting and reconstructing my own machines. I have since spent years making one-offs along with very small production runs of various self designed frames. In addition to machine building, I tattoo full time at Atlas Tattoo, in Portland, OR. All of my machines are well-inspected by myself, with a minimum of 12 working hours, to insure their highest quality.
