I find myself intrigued with black and white photography of young children captured in an awkward moment. Interested in the thought of how their understand the moment, with out the for sight of what is to come. In this paintings, I find this haunting sense of detachment, as if I am lost in a parallel universe.  Through the studying of these characters, I find myself connecting with these people, as if I'm a third person who is capturing this moment.
Focusing my attention on the base drawing and crude skeletal gestures, to capture the emotions in the preliminary sketch.  One of the things I enjoy the most is the experimental use of color when referencing from black and white.
It is interesting to me, that if the past is exactly the same for everyone,  each of our memory's are perceived  differently.  These experiences define who we are now and how we will interpret the next challenge.
